With the rise of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, the Yakima 35th Seventh-day Adventist church is determined to worship in a way that is ethical, cares for our members and visitors, and ultimately glorifies God through our prudence and actions.
While there are no longer any state or local mandates, as a church family we still strongly encourage common-sense precautions to keep everyone healthy and able to congregate safely.
These common-sense suggestions include:
- Wearing facial coverings or masks over the nose and mouth when possible.
- Engaging in regular, thorough hand-washing and/or hand-sanitizing.
- Worshiping with us remotely through our live-stream services if you are experiencing cold or flu like symptoms (cough, fever, body-aches, sneezing) or having been diagnosed with COVID-19.
On behalf of the church body, we thank you for cheerfully and joyously following these guidelines, as we strive to live out Christ's mandate to "love our neighbors as ourselves" (Mark 12:31) during these difficult times.
